Fragrance Profile

An unambiguous barbershop classic — powdery, floral, and immediately recognisable to anyone who has spent time in a traditional barber's chair. Gardenia, jasmine, and cotton flower establish a rich, layered floral heart; ylang-ylang adds exotic warmth and depth. Basil introduces a subtle herbal sharpness that prevents the profile from reading as purely soft. A talcum accord underpins the whole composition, grounding the florals in that distinctive, nostalgic powdery warmth. The base resolves into sandalwood and musk — clean, smooth, and persistent. Complex without being difficult. Classic without being predictable.

Cronos 2.1 Base

BBS Soap's elite tallow base — refined through multiple iterations into one of the most capable shaving soap formulations in the artisan wet shaving category. The Cronos 2.1 core incorporates beef tallow and duck fat for exceptional glide and cushion; murumuru, shea, mango, and cocoa butters deliver intensive conditioning. Green tea extract and raw silkworm cocoons add targeted skin support. Bentonite clay contributes lather structure and blade grip. The result is a dense, stable, creamy foam with outstanding blade performance and post-shave comfort built into the base itself.

Recovery

Allantoin, tocopherol (vitamin E), and menthol support skin recovery during and after the shave. The formulation is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin — delivering hydration and conditioning without irritation.
