Phoenix and Beau Spitfire is a tallow shaving soap. Made from the olfactory memories of the designers Grandfather, who was a World War II veteran of North Africa and Italy, spitfire has the sweet crispness of juniper blended with the freshness of bergamot, woodiness of cedarwood and laid all three on to a base of warming leather and rich tobacco. In terms of scent strength Spitfire is a moderately bold scent that we place in the middle of our olfactory strength range.

As a traditional wet shaver, Kerry wanted to produce a shaving soap that had reliable and consistent performance; something that would let the safety razor glide over his face without irritating it and something that would leave the skin feeling silky smooth. They have successfully created a shaving soap formula that produces a rich, dense and voluminous lather that is a joy to use.

Lovely tallow based soap. Scent quite subtle, and not overpowering. For me the soap's pièce de resistance is the silky smooth, beautifully moisturized, not oily or greasy, skin texture the soap leaves behind, without the need for balms/moisturizers IMO
I really like Pheonix and Beau Shave Soaps. High performance and good quality. Spitfire is an awesome scent, subtle floral with high end leather.
