Agent Shave receives Theo Paphitis #SBS award! Agents commenced an undercover mission to receive our Small Business Sunday award from Theo Paphitis at the #SBSevent2017 in Birmingham.

Who is Agent Shave?

Fellow #SBS winners had been speculating our identity for weeks; will Agent Shave be 'clean shaven' or perhaps a 'beardy hipster type'? Agents slipped in unnoticed.

Beard

Introducing key speakers was Kypros Kyprianou, CEO of Theo Paphitis Retail Group.  He started by saying many great leaders were 'beard' wearers & therefore had grown his! Theo was then welcomed to the stage - and was sporting a wonderful beard! Now this led to a fierce debate over beard v no-beard, at this point Agent Y aka 'Uncle' made himself known & questioned whether Theo would consider shaving his beard? 

The truth was out....of course Agent Y was clean shaven!!!!

We next heard from Jodine Boothby, founder of Gummee - a fellow #SBS winner. She told her inspirational story of failure, bankruptcy, business struggles & initiative.  Now her baby products retail worldwide. 

Q&A Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden & John Mills (JML)

The afternoon of the #SBS winners event was a 2 hour open Q&A session, the panel being Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden & John Mills (JML).  Winners were invited to put questions to the panel. Agents found this to be an exceptional insight into business, marketing & growth. Many questions were directed around the news that #SBS winners will be able to sell goods via the #SBS shop with no monthly fee. An exciting opportunity for #SBS winners!

Finally it was time to receive our award & to reveal our identities.....meet Agent Y & Agent L - other agents are still out there in the field, searching for the best artisan wet shaving & beard care!
