Rockwell 6S Adjustable Safety Razor - Stainless Steel
Very good razor and seems bombproof, shaves well. Maybe better with more experience and trying other blades. I like a mild shave and R3 plate with a Personna blue blade works well for me but will try with the other plates before settling.
Definitely less aggressive than my Merkur Futur that nicks even on setting 1!
I was slightly concerned initially about 6S exposed blade tabs but if it wasn’t for this, adjusting the blade alignment would be very difficult as there is a very slight play between the blade and head stumps until the head is cinched tightly to the handle, then it’s absolutely solid and the blade is solid. None of my other razors have this play, so slightly surprised at the Rockwell given the price level. Not really any biggie but does mean a bit of attention is needed when fitting a blade. There is a slight roughness on one underside edge of the head so perhaps the head is slightly out of tolerance. It doesn’t affect blade rigidity, exposure or gap distances.
As it is the 6S is 4 star, with a slightly better engineered head it would definitely be 5*.

Amazing razor!
I'm new to safety razors and have only been shaving a 1 month or so with a Merkur 24c which is good in itself. However, read some great reviews for this razor so thought I'd give it a go and wow! Smoothest and cleanest shave of my life with minimal nicks or any irritation at all. Think I have just found my razor for life! There's a reason why this is touted as one of the best around.

Not the prettiest, but built like a tank and shaves outstandingly. It's so good I'm considering a second for travel.

Believe the hype
You don't have to look very far to see people singing the praises for this razor. I'm new to safety razors, started with a cheap Wilkinson one which made me look like I'd got caught in a barbed wire fence. So I thought I'd take the plunge on this one. It's so smooth! I'm still new to this after coming over from cartridge razors, so I'm still nailing the technique but it's so much more rewarding. It's a expertly crafted item, you feel it as soon as you open the box way before you put it on your face.

Only used it once so far but feels high quality and my first shave was very smooth. Didn't quite realise I was effectively buying 4 different Razors in effect, but I guess that's OK.

The Rockwell 6s is a good razor and performs very well, but it isn’t the most comfortable razor to shave with. The razor is heavy and poorly balanced, and the knurling on the handle looks better than it actually perform. For some reason I always feel like I’m going to drop it In the sink. The shaving performance is excellent, once you find a plate and blade combination which suits your skin.
The razor is very nicely packaged and is supplied with a pack of razors.
The 6s razor is NOT adjustable, as some people claim it is. It is a razor system which is supplied with 6 different bottom plate options, each with different blade gaps, ranging from mild to aggressive. You cannot adjust anything, you can only change the plates, ie. 6 razors for one price.
Would I buy it again. Probably not.

I've tried a lot, and I do mean a lot, of different DE razors but this is by far the best. The build quality, intuitive shave angle, and ability to fine tune the aggressiveness to suit your needs makes it a winner. And agentshave is a great company to deal with. They clearly don't take themselves too seriously but do provide a seriously good service. Great experience all round.
