Plague Doctors believed the plague was spread by bad air, so in 17th century Venice they wore a beaked mask filled with sweet smells such as dried flowers, herbs and spices. Razorock have masterfully re-created the plague doctors fragrance and now offer it in the Italian Shaving Soap and matching RazoRock Plague Doctor after shaving splash.

I’m quite satisfied with this shaving soap overall. It creates a nice, thick lather, making the shaving experience smooth and comfortable. However, the description mentioned a wonderful floral scent, but I can barely smell it. To me, it just smells like a soap. Since this is my first shaving soap, I’m not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be, but I was expecting a more noticeable fragrance.
